As the King’s army hunts them, Rao is revealed to be General Shiba, a presumed-dead hero. While searching for the lake, he learns from demons that the deadly weapon he once stopped was a lie—the King had deceived him, leading to the loss of his loved ones.
After learning the Phantom Lake belonged to the Pichii people, Rao refuses to exploit it and instead seeks the King’s hidden water supply. With help from General Are—who once blamed Rao for his father’s death but learns the truth—they join forces to overthrow the King.
SAND LAND follows the manga’s story but expands the world with new characters like Ann and a new region called Forest Land. It promises to offer deeper world-building, making it a great experience for both new and longtime fans.
